Rare vintage handcrafted ceramic stoneware vegetable steamer signed by Jator.Food stays hot & delicious. Lead-free Stoneware. Can safely be used in oven or microwave. Dishwasher safe.Just fill the ceramic stoneware pot with vegetables & place on top of a boiling pot of water. The steam raises up through the bottom holes & gently cooks the food. It requires about 10-20 minutes to cook the vegetables. Serve directly from steamer or transfer to plate, platter or bowl.Measures approx. 7 in diameter & 8 tall with the lid.  Jator's pieces are noted for their functionality & aesthetic appeal.
